The IS-84 is an 8-input, 4-output audio selector. It started out a custom, built to order product. Many bands will have a separate wireless transmitter and receiver for each guitar, and they need a way to manage these signals and select which guitar is active at any time. We started creating custom products to fill these needs.
We made a few different versions over the years, then eventually decided to make one product that is flexible enough to cover all of our bands' needs. That's the IS-84. It has 8 selectable inputs and 4 selectable outputs. Any inputs that are enabled are mixed down, and then the resultant signal is sent to all of the selected audio outputs.
The IS-84 isn't just limited to switching wireless receivers. Because of its simplicity and transparent audio path, it can be used anywhere audio signals need to be selected.

- A buffered front panel input that overrides Input 1 on the rear panel when something is plugged into it
- Outputs 3 & 4 are transformer isolated to prevent ground loops
- Very transparent relay-based switching
- Pro quality, high headroom buffer and mixer circuits
- Full MIDI capability, can be controlled by PC and CC messages
- Multiple configuration modes, can limit input / output selection to one at a time, or allow multiple inputs and outputs to be selected
- 9VAC or 12VDC power, 500mA minimum, either polarity
